I'm an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Stanford University. (I'll update my new page soon: http://www.cs.stanford.edu/~bregler)

I got my Ph.D in Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley working with advisors Jitendra Malik and Jerry Feldman in the UCB Computer Vision Group.

My reseach interests center around issues in machine perception and machine learning with applications to vision, speech, and graphics. Currently I focus on techniques that can model, recognize, and animate human movements. This ranges from "talking heads" to full body motion.
