I can't believe my little dog Lassie ran away. She packed her bags, got into a hot air balloon. Then my little dog Lassie she sailed off to the moon. E B Bb The day... F# C# C The day... E F# A B That was the day that Lassie went to the moon. the best effect for the chorus is to make all the chords Barre Chords, cause it sounds like they do that on the cd. ~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~` Dave Madden dcmst25@pop.pitt.edu http://www.pitt.edu/~dcmst25 Clearing my throat and gripping my lectern I smile and face my audience clearing his throat and smiling with his hands on the bathroom sink. `~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~ Date: Thu, 5 Dec 1996 14:14:51 +0000 (GMT) From: Mungo Subject: Re: "The Day that Lassie Went to the Moon" chords Message-Id: I always figured the chords for the chorus went: E B Bb (the day) Gb A G (the day) E Bb Gb A E > That was the day that Lassie went to the moon. I figured this out years ago, and it sounds right on both guitar (bar chords, yep) and keyboard. For "I'm not Like Everybody else". the chorus should alternate Em, D, instead of just Em the whole way through. * -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mungo http://www.aber.ac.uk/~grp95/ AMC http://www.aber.ac.uk/~grp95/amc.html * --------------------------------------------------------------------
