Verse: A A G F E e --------------------------------------------------- B --------------------------------------------------- G 6-6-6-6-6-6--6-6-6-6-6-6--4-4-4-4-4-4--2222-1111--- D 7-7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7-7-7-7--5-5-5-5-5-5--3333-2222--- A 7-7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7-7-7-7--5-5-5-5-5-5--3333-2222--- E 5-0-5-0-5-0--5-0-5-0-5-0--3-0-3-0-3-0--1111-0000--- "The lights went out, at the abandoned....." You can manage this part just by playing the regular old barre chords and bending up your index finger every other beat. Listen for the rythym and you'll get it. You can also play the entire barre chords and not just the bottom 4 strings if you want, but I'm not sure if they do that on the record. Chorus: Iiiiiiiiice creeeeeeam......... Bm A Iiiiiiiiice creeeeeeam......... Bm A G Iiiiiiiiice creeeeeeam......... Bm A Iiiiiiiiice creeeeeeam......... Bm A G Plus there's like 2 synths and another guitar just wandering around the whole time. I didn't bother with it. Lyrics: The lights went out in the abandoned house your house after you left. Waved goodbye sat on a crate thought when I spoke and thought when you're gone. It's just like every day, doo doo doo-doo.......... Ice Cream................ Ride my bike I turn the corner and go home walk on the ground. Blink my eyes breath the air and drink water just like every day Chorus.... Never forget the day that I washed my face in the sink and I went to the store I bought some bolts and I bought some napkins and I went back home washed my face again. Chorus ------ Please send additions or corrections to me . I'm not 100% sure on the chorus. In my opinion, by the way, this song is a great example of Lowery's amazing lyric writing. So simple, yet they burn an image into the brain. --Clay
