Walkers is a demonstration of how you can create something that seems like intelligent behavior by using plain vanilla VRML. All of the various walk styles of the two characters in the demo are created by linear interpolations between various predefined walk cycles.

The entire thing is done by using VRML interpolators. The demo is significant in that it shows how greatly one can tap into peoples' preconceived perceptions about personality to create an illusion of purpose and intelligence simly by having only very abstract shapes go through extremely simple rule-based movements.
